On Sunday 11th September at 10.00 am at Sandwell Valley Country Park, Sandwell Leisure Trust in partnership with Smile for Joel and Victim Support are proud to invite you to take part in the Run for Joel fun run.
The Run for Joel competitive 5k Run (or a more relaxed 3k Fun Run) jog or even a stroll is open to all ages and abilities across the region and all money raised will go towards a great cause.
Smile for Joel was set up by the family of Joel Richards, Adrian Evans and Patrick Evans, victims of the tragedy in Tunisia on June 26th 2015, to ensure that the family’s legacy of ‘Together wE Achieve More’ continues.
The event is still currently accepting entries and everyone, no matter what age or ability, is encouraged to attend, with entries costing £10 for the 5k race, £6 for the 3k fun run for adults and children 12+, under 12's £2 and free for 0-2yrs.
The day will be supported by BBC Radio WM, who will be doing a live broadcast from the event, with the BBC Tour Bus also on site. There will also be an opportunity to gain a free health check, get your face painted, as well as purchase food and drink and Smile for Joel branded merchandise.
What better way to get involved and raise funds for such a worthwhile cause than to kick start your Sunday with a charitable fun run.
