Tipton Sports Academy Unveils Newly Redeveloped Indoor Tennis Courts

We are delighted to announce to announce the completion of this redevelopment project, featuring the relaying of the surface of all indoor tennis courts at Tipton Sports Academy. 

The state-of-the-art indoor courts will provide a year-round tennis resource for the local community and support the development of aspiring talent within the region.

Mark Braithwaite, Chief Executive of SLT, expressed his enthusiasm for the project:

The indoor tennis courts at Tipton Sports Academy are designed to cater to players of all levels from beginners to seasoned players. 

Whether it’s casual games with friends or competitive training sessions, the courts will allow residents to enjoy tennis in all seasons, rain or shine. 

The redevelopment further solidifies SLTs commitment to promoting health, fitness, and sports excellence in the Sandwell region.

In addition to enhancing recreational opportunities for the community, the courts are set to become a hub for nurturing future tennis stars. 

Tipton Sports Academy works closely with local schools and clubs to create junior programs, opportunities camps, and clinics, giving young people the platform they need to grow their skills and maybe one day could be the home of the next Andy Murray or Emma Raducanu. 

The courts are now open to the public, with memberships and booking options available online and in person.
