What equipment will be available?
A wide range of new equipment will be available. Following
extensive research, monitoring and consultation, the most popular equipment
will all be replaced.
Our decision on what equipment to install was guided by a
combination of industry trends, member feedback, and an in-depth usage analysis
of each piece of equipment. We collaborated with an external organization to
conduct thorough surveys and analyse data from our members. This process
allowed us to determine the optimal equipment mix tailored to meet the needs
and preferences of our membership base.
Will there be staff available to show how to use any new

We will be adding more gym staff hours over the opening few

What provision will there be for people with
disabilities?
We are committed to supporting everyone in the wellbeing
goals. We are investing in the new state of the art EGYM as well as including a
wide range of equipment that will remain accessible.
We have consulted with Right Directions who now oversee the
Tackling Inequalities framework for leisure operators, which replaced the
Inclusive Fitness Initiative accreditation scheme several years ago.
This framework and the discussion with Right
Directions were around equipment both in terms of checking our supply chain
were an accredited supplier of inclusive equipment, which they are. And what
guidance states for operators in terms of volume of equipment.
