We’ve compiled a list of fun and educational activities for kids and families to do which can help fill up some time in lockdown.

SLT – Printable Activities

Our activity pack includes printable sheets such as a word search, crossword and colouring-in sheet. We’d love to see any completed worksheets, share your creations with us on our Facebook page.

STA – Water Safety Activities

STA have also provided a number of helpful resources which includes a downloadable Water Safety Booklet and other activities to help teach children how to keep safe around water.

UK Active – Move Crew

UK Active have developed Move Crew alongside Nike. A great way for kids to achieve their recommended 60 minutes of daily activity with the help of elite athletes, coaches, physical activity specialists and fellow kids.

NHS & Change for Life – 10 minute Shake Up Games

These 10-minute bursts of fun are perfect for breaking apart school work and giving kids a chance to move around with familiar Disney characters.

LTA Youth – Tennis at Home

The Lawn Tennis Association have provided a large number of activities to help kids develop their tennis skills at home both mentally and physically. With a great variety of activities for different age groups it’s a great way to prepare for when our courts re-open!

While Sandwell Libraries are closed they are offering instant access to BorrowBox, a service with free eBooks and eAudiobooks. You can join online and download the many great book titles they have on offer.
