Customer Notice: Fees and Charges 2024/25
We would like to inform our customers that some prices will increase from 1st January 2024.
We have, where possible, kept these increases to a minimum. These increases are necessary to help us continue to deliver a sustainable and quality service for all our customers.
Sandwell Leisure Trust continues to deliver quality leisure provision across Sandwell and excellent value for money. The prestigious Sandwell Aquatics Centre opened this summer offering the ultimate leisure experience for our members. The centre has been a tremendous success attracting up to 15,000 people per week and will become a long-term sustainable leisure facility.
Also this year has seen us invest in a complete new gym transformation project at Wednesbury Leisure Centre which will include the very latest equipment from Pulse Fitness. This equipment will also be included in a project at Tipton Leisure Centre.
A new fitness app was launched for each leisure centre to support customer experience and ease to book your favourite sessions.
Portway Lifestyle Centre opened a new and exciting Live Well Gym in September, this includes 6 power assisted exercise chairs that help to increase strength, flexibility, balance, mobility and circulation in a sociable and relaxing environment. Ideal for promoting active aging and also rehabilitation. The team at Portway will be launching a new exciting Fitness Class programme early in 2024 with more amazing classes.
The following changes will also be taking place from 1st January 2024:
- Free Swimming will be made available during programmed Free Swimming session times only. Customers are asked to please check for Free Swimming Sessions available at their local swimming site, information will be available online via slt-leisure.co.uk, via the SLT App and through our social channels.
- Junior access for 14–17-year-olds into gyms will be made available at specific programmed times to enable supervision and effective support.
- One Card membership will continue to provide one inclusive gym induction with the option to purchase additional 1-2-1 programmes and personal training.
- Corporate Membership discount rate to employers will be move to the new price of £29.50 per month, a 10% saving on the full price of One Card membership.
- SLT will continue to provide ‘pay as you go’, targeted concessions, free swimming and membership options, family, student corporate, monthly and annual memberships.
