Portway Lifestyle Centre is an exciting new leisure facility for Sandwell, a vibrant and unique sports, health and wellbeing centre for the whole community and centre of excellence for people with disabilities. The sport and leisure facilities at Portway Lifestyle Centre are managed by charitable organisation Sandwell Leisure Trust which also runs seven other leisure centres and a golf course on behalf of Sandwell Council.
Scheduled maintenance roadworks at Newbury Lane, Oldbury, between Wolverhampton Road and Portway Hill may result in delays in your journey to and from Portway Lifestyle Centre. The Carriageway resurfacing works will be carried out on weekdays from Friday 3rd February to Thursday 16th February between 09:00 and 15:30.
Traffic will be controlled via a lane closure operating under a One-Way traffic managements system, which may result in delays. Normal access will be restored by then end of each working day.
We advise all of our customers, particularly those who attend the morning classes, to allow for plenty of time for the journey.
