SLT is currently looking to appoint, train and develop 4 new committed and enthusiastic female Leisure Attendants to work full time on a permanent basis as part of a great team at Smethwick Swimming Centre, Langley Swimming Centre or Haden Hill Leisure Centre and award winning and expanding organisation.
1 x Smethwick Swimming Centre
Thimblemill Road, Smethwick. Birmingham. B67 5QT.
Shift Rota - Salary range £21,269 - £22,053 per annum, which includes shift pay and enhanced payments for weekend working.
1 x Langley Swimming Centre
Vicarage Road, Oldbury. Birmingham. B68 8HS.
Shift Rota - Salary range £21,049 - £21,825 per annum, which includes shift pay and enhanced payments for weekend working.
1 x Peripatetic between Smethwick & Langley Swimming Centres
Fixed Base Rota at SSC - Salary range £19,961 - £20,767 per annum, which includes enhanced payments for weekend working.
1 x Haden Hill Leisure Centre
Barrs Road, Cradley Heath, West Midlands B64 7HA.
Salary range £21,708 - £22,510 per annum, which includes shift pay and enhanced payments for weekend working.
Being a Leisure Attendant at SLT is an enjoyable and rewarding career, which involves supervising and looking after customers, maintaining cleanliness of the pool and its surroundings and maintaining the health, safety and welfare of everyone enjoying the services. The role also includes the assembly and layout of equipment, handling customer enquiries and requires candidates to have a positive and enthusiastic attitude.
So what do I need to do to become a Leisure Attendant with Sandwell Leisure Trust?
To be able to train and become a Leisure Attendant you will need to:-
Complete an online application form
If, shortlisted, attend an interview
Be able to pass an SLT swimming test
Provide us with 2 satisfactory references
Allow us to carry out a medical and a full DBS check
Attend a pool lifeguard course from Monday 12th August 2019 – 17th August 2019 (full attendance each day is mandatory) and successfully pass all assessments.
