SLT a multi million pound turn-over and multi-award winning company operate and manage the Ryland Centre, Bromsgrove on behalf of Worcestershire County Council and are now looking to appoint a Building & Fitness Supervisor to support the management team to drive and grow this thriving centre.
As a member of the Management Team you will be responsible for the daily operational management of the site and supporting staff as necessary to ensure the provision of quality services. You will be responsible for site security, opening/closing of buildings, setting of security systems, health and safety and be available for emergency call outs as necessary.
You will also be a motivated sales and customer focused individual, with a passion for the delivery of excellence to all. This is a key position requiring drive and enthusiasm and you will need to be flexible and organised, with a professional approach in managing the day to day running of the facility including gym, exercise and sports programmes, staff management, as well as undertaking delivery to customers.
You must have a proven and successful track record of experience within the leisure and health and fitness sector, including marketing, staff management, premise management and be passionate about customer service with a proven track record of achieving results.
Candidates must have management/supervisory experience in the fitness sector including successfully working to revenue and performance targets, marketing and/or managing events, managing staff, daily operations of a sports facility and a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a gym and fitness environment including instruction on weight training, cardiovascular equipment and fitness classes.
You must hold an OCR/RSA/YMCA Gym and Fitness Instructor certificate or Focus/Premier Fitness Instructor certificate or equivalent and an Exercise to Music Qualification.
