“We started our first season in the Birmingham Women’s League this year.  It was a struggle to begin with but with the help of Sandwell Leisure Trust, Sandwell Homes, West Bromwich Albion and local company IPU we started with only 9 players and now have a squad of 23 which only shows how the team is growing and progressing thanks to those mentioned above.”

I will continue going until the 8 weeks are up but hope it carries on because there obviously is a need for a club like this.  I enrolled 3 of my friend’s as well”.

"Just a quick note to thank you and all your colleagues for all your hard work that you all obviously put in in order to make yesterday such a great success.  It can be hard enough trying to organise a cluster sports tournament involving six schools of one age group playing one sport at one venue so I can only try to imagine the work load involved in yesterday's event. The whole day was fantastic. Not only did our kids thoroughly enjoy it but looking at the faces of all the other youngsters at Aldersley they all did. It was great to see all the volleyball players playing sport in the right way, trying to win whilst appreciating good play and the effort of other teams. The two images that will stay in my mind are the response of the crowd to the two speeches by the disabled performers at the opening ceremony AND the looks of amazement on the faces of the primary school kids watching some of the acrobatic movements in the closing ceremony. The whole day was a great reminder of  what real PE and sport is all about. Please pass on my thanks to everybody involved."
Steve Shore, Sandwell Games 2011

We look forward to working with you again."
