Join in Local Sport
Join in Local Sport’ is about getting as many people as possible to turn up, take part and join in at their local sports facilities on 18-19 August, the first weekend between the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Be Active 2013
Fans of the 2012 games can try some of the sports that gripped the nation by picking from 24 weekly sessions taking place throughout the borough over the next few weeks.

School Holiday sport activities
West Smethwick Park and Victoria Park in partnership with Pertemps Coaching.
Open sessions with a sports coach and a gym instructor on site at Multi Use Games Area.
Adizone Outdoor Gym Sessions
A qualified coach to help you use the outdoor equipment or play football
Thursday 11- 1pm at Dartmouth Park. Cost - Free
Back to Netball
Netball sessions for females aged 16+
Every Thursday 8-9pm at RSA Academy. Cost £1 per session. First session FREE.
If you used to play and would like to start again,or if you have no experience and would like to try playing netball then come along and join the fun. Sessions are coach led and cover basic skills, development and court play.
Physical Activity Development Officers
Physical Activity Development Officers (PADOs) work within the local Rowley Regis, Smethwick, West Bromwich and Tipton areas to engage with local residents to get them more physically active.

The sports development team supports the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children and the Black Country authorities.
