Customer Notice - Swimming pools are temporarily closed until the end of April 2012.
Please note the centre is still open, the gym, fitness classes and sports hall facilities are all open as normal.
Wednesbury Leisure Centre's swimming pools are both temporarily closed until the end of April 2012 for essential maintenance to the filtration plant and equipment.
All other facilities including the gym, fitness classes and sports hall will remain open as normal. Customers are asked to contact the centre team for cancellations and alternative arrangements for swimming lessons, pool hire and club sessions.
We apologise for this disruption to swimming facilities we are working in partnership with Sandwell Council to keep service disruption to a minimum. The centre team are also working hard to support customers and bookings that are affected by this temporary closure.

Information
Wednesbury Leisure Centre, located opposite Morrisons and the bus station, has a fully equipped gym offering the latest CV equipment supported by resistance machines. It has modern changing facilities, two pools and a sports hall offering team sports and fitness classes.
The centre's two pools host a range of activities including; swimming lessons, public swimming, family swimming, parent and toddler sessions and Aqua Fit.
Large Pool: 25m x 12.5m
Small Pool: 12.5m x 7.5m

Synergym
‘Synergym’ is SLT’s name for our fitness gyms – where you can find the latest workout kit. We’re updating these gyms at Wednesury Leisure Centre, Haden Hill Leisure Centre and Smethwick Swimming Centre.
Look out for running machines with TV screens and iPod sockets, and workout programmes you can download on a USB stick and plug into the equipment.
