Sandwell Leisure Trust is committed to offering activities for disabled people.

There are swimming sessions for disabled children at Wednesbury Swimming Centre on Fridays from 4-5pm and Saturdays from 8.30-9am.

We also offer adults’ disability swimming sessions at Langley Swimming Centre on Mondays at 9:30-11am, and at Wednesbury Leisure Centre on Fridays from 9-10:30am. These fun, social sessions include swimming lessons, water workouts and 30 minutes of aerobics.

All our swimming pools have disability hoists and trained staff. All our centres have portable hearing loops. Some centres have Braille and tactile signs.

We recently won an Awards for All grant to buy new equipment for three of the trust’s swimming pools - like disability changing beds, an underwater music system and a selection of new swimming aids.
