Over 50s are invited to join an indoor bowling session at an Oldbury church...
The sessions take place every Thursday from 10.30am to 12.30pm at Hope Church/Rounds Green Christian Fellowship Church, St James Road.
The next two sessions are free (Thursday 2 and Thursday 9 February).
Sessions normally cost £2 per person which includes light refreshments.
All abilities are welcome.
The church's pastor said: "As a church we are delighted that we can play a part in this bowling activity. Our church has great facilities and a warm relaxed family atmosphere and we look forward to welcome all who will attend.
"This is a great opportunity for unwinding, having fun and making new friends. It's also a chance to find out what other activities we have to offer so please come and join us.
" If anyone has any spare bowls they can donate, please let us know."
Lisa Rashid, Physical Activity Officer for Sandwell Leisure Trust, explained that the sessions have been set up to encourage older people to become more active.
“A lot of people don’t realise that an activity such as bowls is considered as a form of physical activity and could add to their recommended 5 x 30 minutes of exercise per week. It’s also a great way to meet new people and have fun.
"Sessions are open from beginners to those with a little more experience, so anyone interested is invited to come along, get fit and have fun in a relaxed and informal setting."
The sessions are funded by Sandwell Leisure Trust in partnership with Age UK Sandwell.
