People looking for a sporting challenge are invited to enter Tipton Swimming Centre's third annual Aquathlon in March...
The event combines swimming and running with a variety of competitions for all age groups from 8 years and upwards.
The Queen's Road centre will be hosting the event from 12pm to 4pm on Sunday March 18. The running section of the competition will be held at neighbouring Victoria Park.
Entry costs:
£8 for adults
£5 for children under 16 years
Training sessions are also available at the centre with Oldbury Swimming and Triathlon Club between 9pm and 10pm on Wednesday evenings.
Tipton's Physical Activity and Development Officer, Lisa Rashid, said: "Sign up for the Aquathlon and give your new year’s resolution to keep fit a kick start!
"Tipton Swimming Centre hopes to make this their biggest and most successful event to date."
The Tipton Aquathlon won the West Midlands event of 2011.
